Whilst writing my personal statement, I wrote about catharsis. This blog was started to let me have a creative outlet because once I left high school I felt as creative as a stone.
However, being me, I have suffered a 2 year writers block. Whenever I want to write, it never comes out the way I like and most of the time I completely hate it. sigh
One day, like an epiphany I realised I’m writing to release, to tell the world, to stop bottling all the madness going on in my head.

My conclusion is, 2016 will be the year of catharsis. It will be the year I’m creative and blog without excuses. It will be the year that stress becomes manageable because I let go.
I know everyone is freaking tired of hearing Frozen songs but Elsa was on to something. If I can’t change it, then meh. LET. IT. GO.

I miss writing, I keep saying it and doing nothing about it. I have a whole list of things to do this year, things I’d like to share and experiences I hope will make me want to write.

Music is another creative outlet I have allowed to just walk on out of my life. I would love to get my hands on a piano and start playing again. As for singing, I grace my colleagues with the pleasure of free concerts more than enough!

2016, my year of catharsis.
What are your 2016 goals?

Love this! I’m also trying to just be unapologetically me and unashamedly do the things I love: read, write and draw. Creativity is the best. Trying to stress less as well. Wishing you well in 2016!

It’s something that’s so simple but we often forget to do. It’s important to have that me time!
      Wishing you well too!
