Travel Bucket List

Who doesn’t love being whisked away to another country, to experience new places and hopefully have the holiday of a lifetime?
Recently I was told I need to “get out more”. Never in this lifetime did I think at the age of 20, I would be hearing this sentence. It didn’t take too much thought for me to realise that I have always known I am a creature of habit, I love my routines and usually stick to places I know very well and because of this, I never do anything new. *sigh*
This year I promised myself to change that and since then I have been compiling a list of places, within Europe to start with, that I would LOVE to visit within the next year.
I have lived in the Netherlands for 2 years now and only crossed the border thrice. Twice to London and once to Vienna. I think it’s time I spread my wings a little…after my next London getaway in 2 weeks that is! (I know what you’re thinking…but honestly I just love the place! )

1. Greece

img_3877
Greece has always been at the top of my bucket list and seeing as I am in need of a decent holiday, what better place that offers sun, sand and sea?
I would love to spend some time there exploring Athens, the islands and enjoying the insanely blue waters that surround them all.
I do have a trip in the works, inspired by Copper Garden; A blogger and YouTuber I have been following for a while.
She spent some time in Greece last year with a company called MedSailors and after reading about her experience and seeing all the gorgeous pictures, I decided I needed to get out of my comfort zone and get my travel on with them!

2. Dublin

Photo found on: http://www.simplicity.ro/excursii/dublin-irlanda/

I have a slight obsession with Ireland. The country has such an interesting history and lets face it, it’s beautiful. Although everyone I know recommends visiting other cities like Cork highly, I would love to start off in the countries capital and have a lovely little city break.
A major plus point being that everyone I have met from Ireland is just so lovely. How are they all so friendly? It’s amazing.

3. Prague

Once upon a time I spent some time in Prague on a school trip and fell head over heels in love with the place. It’s such a romantic city with lots of historic sites and beautiful architecture. It also helps that it is easy to navigate. (from what I remember)
There is so much I would still like to discover though. Soon enough…

4. Antwerp

citygames-antwerpen

It’s basically a stones throw away from Amsterdam in comparison with other places I would like to visit, which actually baffles me as to why I haven’t done so yet.
One train from Amsterdam could get me there in no time and I hear SUCH wonderful things about the city from friends. This is a trip I know I can fit in soon, just a day or two away to refresh and “get out more”.

5. Budapest

I am once again cheating with this one because Budapest is a city I have visited before, however, it was a very brief encounter.
I would be delighted if I had the chance to go back, hopefully in the summer time because their bath houses look AMAZING.

7. Luxembourg

luxembourg
When I think of Luxembourg, 2 things come to mind. Colourful houses and amazing flower baskets. This is all found in the middle of intense forest and insanely stunning views. This is a place I would return to in a heartbeat. It is so untouched and although not the most action packed city, it is perfect for a quiet getaway.

There are probably more cities that will join this list as time passes but for now, these are the ones I am dying to see.
What countries/cities are on your travel bucket list? Any you recommend? Let me know!

    • Wow, what a great trip!!!! Just today I bought a new vincent longo pot concealer that can be subbed in for my foundation. I also bought his pressed powder. The rest of my makeup is just sticks! Easy peasy. I don't bring shampoo or anything special for my hair except an ounce of frizz serum. It's fun to see how little you can do with!

    • Hey asshole…You have no interest in this man…You are just here to piss people off…Every single thing you have said has come from the media…Fine if you wanna believe the B.S media construct ‘Wacko Jacko’ but word of advice…Knowledge is power…What is the point of having a brain if you don’t use it…Don’t you wanna know what kind of world you live in??? If you believe stuff spoon fed to you from the idiot box then i guess you are a lost cause.

    • I myself have size 13 feet. I own a K2 illusion board , and i have it wide. A wide board has many benefits such as:toes don’t hang over edge, and it is easier to land jumps with a wider base. So i would go for a wide snowboard.happy riding

At last, I found one Hrithik fan who agrees with me regarding his clueless performance in Guzaarish. Here is a copy of comment from a Hrithik fan posted on my site – “Fully agree with Admin that Hrithik was repeating his Koi Mil Gaya act in many scenes and seemed retarded even though the character is not so. Film worth watching once but do not see any repeat value. Being a Hrithik fan, I hope he still gets the award, though I was not too happy with this performance.”

Sigh, isn't Greece just beautiful? Actually Europe is so beautiful and I'd give anything to live there forever :(Anyway this looks fab in all its comforting glory. I love Greek food, and in fact, my fave Syd restaurant is Greek 🙂

    • I definitely think design was in the genes from the get-go! Absolutely love this post and the images — can’t pick a favorite. It’s nice to see such a lovely element of design be updated and used in such creative, cool ways. Looking forward to more of your blog!

. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people think about worries that they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks

truly appreciated this article that you published actually. it really is not that simple to discover excellent posts toactually go through (you know truly READ rather than just browsing through the idea like several uniterested and skin eating zombie ahead of moving on), therefore cheers person for not really wasting any of my time! :r

Robin Wiliam looks like Robin Williams – Quite clear from the posters, not much has been done make up wise- TrueAmitabh has been capture using top angle perspective so looks short- True Jack did not succeed at the box-office also true.Budget is $45 million and Gross revenue $58,586,889 There were also no father son emotions in JACK as it was the teacher Bing Cosby , so Abhishek is also right.Dpn’t think one has to see PAA to get the above mentioned points.

    • Avi, your refusal to believe this story is just plain bizarre. We’re talking about the behavior of individuals here. The fact that your experience does not match Ms. Addario’s claims means nothing whatsoever.

I get the impression that, nimrod that he is, Jared seems to think that because they’re friends, that the Commander and Poison have romantic tension… and “non-same-sex friends = future lovers” is a definite nerd mindset.

Didn’t see any $%^&* ufo…I believe those are referred to as seagulls. What I did see is a clown that doesn’t know how to use a camera—next time you try that stunt, have the girl place her right hand at a set spot and keep it there without budging it, then position the cam so that it is right in line w/ the bottom of the Needle, THEN have her move her left out, in, up or down as necessary until it just? kisses the top of the damned needle in the viewfinder….duh, don’t forget to say cheese

That looks pretty neat! I dyed my hair green for Halloween when I was a teenager but nothing else since then. I bet it was a great way to let off steam after all your studying the past few weeks. (I started reading your blog a few months ago. My boyfriend and I currently live in Washington, DC but we’re relocating to Buffalo next year — we’re targeting sometime between March and May. He grew up in the city and I fell in love with the area on my visits. I like reading about your life experiences in the city where I’ll soon be living.)

Do you still have a med. children shirt? My boy is 5 1/2 and he MUST have one of these shirts. Love your site and can’t wait for him to see all the wonderful things you are doing. I am going to send his PE teachers to this site as well to help him feel more comfortable in gym….he doesn’t seem to like it too much yet.

    • Thanks! This worked like a charm. Why is the code in the mag different though? I couldn’t get that to work. Maybe I did something wrong???Thanks again for a great foundation to Flash and Flickr.

Arata interesant dar nu m-as incumeta sa gust mancare japoneza. In schimb mi-ar placea foarte mult sa incerc ceaiurile lor, mai ales ceai verde matcha, care este foarte scump si greu de gasit.
